J & J Corp dba Soyko International, Circle Seeds, a participant in Food Export-Midwest programs and services since 2002 has gained success in Japan in 2019 after participating in the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program and attending Seoul Food & Hotel using Food Export's Food Show PLUS! services.
Using Branded Program funding to reduce the costs of exhibiting at Seoul Food & Hotel helped the Minnesota Supplier lessen their expenses and also meet 2 new foreign buyer contacts. One of these contacts led to a sale of over $680K to Japan, more than a 20% increase in revenue from that market.
J & J Corp dba Soyko International, Circle Seeds is a producer of Identity-Preserved, non-GMO, organic, and conventional grains in the food ingredients market, particularly tofu. Their products are highly sought after in countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Singapore. The Gary, Minnesota supplier has established strong customer relationships in these markets and continues to build new ones thanks to the continued support of the Branded Program.
