Program Highlight
Recently Food Export-Northeast sponsored a Lobster Roll Rumble as part of the 2018 Berlin Food Week in Berlin, Germany. The event featured 3 variations of Lobster Rolls “The Classic”, “Italian-Style”, and “Posh” that attendees could purchase for a taste of U.S. Northeast seafood. The lobster rolls were a huge hit, and after selling around 750 the participating restaurant completely sold out! The event was later featured in a popular Berlin Newspaper as a highlight from the Food Week and created a great buzz around a seafood product that isn’t often focused on in the German market.
FAS even tweeted about the event in honor of National Seafood Month!
