Food Export – Midwest and Food Export – Northeast’s mission has always been to help U.S. companies increase their export sales. One of the main ways we do that is by attending and hosting events around the globe.

Dairy, Deli, and Bakery Buyers Mission at IDDBA
Anaheim, CA
June 4 – 5, 2022
We kicked off June with the Dairy, Deli, and Bakery Buyers Mission in partnership with the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) at the 2022 IDDBA Show in Anaheim, California. The annual IDDBA show is the largest show in the dairy, deli, bakery industry and attracts more than 10,000 registrants and about 800 exhibiting companies. This Buyers Mission brought in buyers from Brazil, Hong Kong, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Initial results report over $2M in projected export sales!
Value-Added Feed Ingredients Buyers Mission at World Pork Expo
Des Moines, IA
June 7 – 8, 2023
Food Export hosted the Value-Added Feed Ingredients at the World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa. This year, buyers from Brazil, Chile, China, Guatemala, Mexico South Korea, and Taiwan traveled to Iowa to meet with 12 U.S. suppliers. In addition to one-on-one meetings and attendance to the Expo, the participating international buyers had the opportunity to tour a feed mill.
Initial reports indicate over $3M in projected export sales for U.S. suppliers. The World Pork Expo is the largest pork industry-specific trade show and brings together pork producers and industry professionals from around the world for three days of education, innovation and networking.
Caribbean and Latin American Buyers Mission for Retail and Food Service Products
Miami, FL
June 12 – 15, 2023
Our annual Caribbean & Latin American Buyers Mission in partnership with the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) took place in sunny Miami! The event brought buyers from all over the Caribbean and Latin American region to meet with 20+ U.S. suppliers.
The three days of activities also included a market briefing, retail tour, educational seminar with a panel featuring In-Market and USDA Representative covering market trends, policies, and opportunities.
Food Show PLUS! at Food Taipei
Taipei, Taiwan
June 14 – 17, 2022
Food Export traveled to Taipei to facilitate the Food Show PLUS! services offered at the 2023 Food Taipei trade show. This year, the show hosted 1,053 exhibitors and over 40,000 visitors. At such large shows, our Food Show PLUS! services are key for our participants, giving them access to interpreters, one-on-one meetings, post-show lead qualifications, and market briefings. This year 6 U.S suppliers traveled to Taipei and benefitted from Food Show PLUS!
Specialty Food Buyers Mission at the Summer Fancy Food Show
New York, New York
June 23 – 24, 2023
To close out June, we headed to New York City for the annual Specialty Food Buyers Mission in partnership with the Specialty Food Association. This Buyers Mission takes place alongside the Summer Fancy Food Show, allowing suppliers and buyers to make the most out of their time at the mission. This year we had 44 suppliers and 15 buyers participate, and initial results show over $1M in projected export sales.
