Virtual Consultations are a 30 minute one-on-one video consultation with one of our In-Market Representatives. These sessions are meant to help you explore questions related to export plans and market expansion. During your session you will have the opportunity to receive answers to pre-determined market-specific questions. Our in-market experts will do their best to answer your questions and deliver valuable feedback to help you achieve export success.
Suppliers can select up to four (4) questions to ask the In-Market Representative. Questions will be submitted in advance of the one-on-one video consultation and follow-up assistance may be permitted. From the date of registration, we will set a 10-business-day timeline for initiating the video consultation.
In-Market Representatives will use the information gathered during the registration to begin preliminary research to help answer the supplier’s questions. During the call, our In-Market Representatives will do their best to answer as many questions as they can while giving valuable, real-time feedback.

Get to know Ken Yang, Food Export’s Korean In-Market Representative
Mr. Yang has over 20 years experience in international trade, economic & business development, market research, and financial and investment advisory services both for private and public businesses. Ken has worked for American States for 18 years in Korea for the promotion of trade and foreign direct investment. He currently represents Food Export Associations, Northwest Cherry Growers and Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development in the Korean market. Mr. Yang is working closely with over 400 Korean food buyers and distributors to provide food marketing services. Those buyers and distributors are from consumer goods, food and agricultural products, dairy, HRI, bakery, hardwood, fishery, food processing and manufacturing, retail, hypermarkets, PR & media, etc. Mr. Yang received a MBA in International Business from Sogang Graduate School of Business Administration. He and his wife have a daughter, Soomin.
