Seoul Food & Hotel 2024 is the biggest food show in South Korea. The event provides access to major food importers, distributors, hoteliers, restaurateurs, and retailers who are looking for food and beverages, wine and spirits, hospitality and food service products, and ingredients. As a nation of ever-evolving tastes and with a variety of developing food trends, South Korea is one of Asia’s key nations for launching new and innovative products.
South Korea has proven to be an appealing and profitable market for U.S. companies for many years. Consumer-oriented American products continued to lead the expansion of the export market in South Korea, which reflected consumers’ increased demand for better value, quality and diversity.
South Korea is the fifth-largest export market for U.S. food and farm products. According to USDA FAS reports, the U.S. takes 23.6 percent of the market share of food and ag supplying countries, and 34.6% of the consumer-oriented products market share.
